A place to play, connect, and feel understood
I host a fortnightly playgroup in my purpose-built play therapy studio in Tea Tree Gully, held on alternate Tuesdays throughout the South Australian school term.
This gathering invites families with children who have a developmental difference or diagnosis to come together in a space of understanding and ease. While children play, explore, and connect, parents and carers have time to talk, share experiences, and feel less alone.
During each session, I gently observe, answer questions, and offer guidance, from practical strategies to referral pathways and community connections, all in a relaxed, informal way.
This playgroup is about building a supportive community. A place where families meet others who truly understand. Where friendships form, confidence grows, and support feels natural.
You are warmly invited to come and be part of it. Please fill out the form and we’ll be in touch.

The playgroup is a welcoming, outdoor space designed exclusively for families with children who are developing differently. Families are encouraged to bring along younger children or siblings and come find their tribe. The playgroup operates entirely outdoors, with access to toilet facilities inside. Families are encouraged to rug up for the weather. If there is heavy rain, a note will be posted on social media cancelling playgroup for that fortnight.
I cannot recommend Ali's services highly enough, our son has recently joined her playgroup and the positive changes we have seen in such a short amount of time has been astounding. He is calmer and happier than he has been in a long time. She has provided us with real strategies that work at home to support him during meltdowns and they have decreased and become more manageable ever since we have put them in place. She is so respectful and caring in her approach and her detailed therapy notes makes it easier to see the world through our son's eyes and understand his behaviour. Thank you Ali, we are so grateful!
